Your day starts in the capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma. Stroll through cobbled streets lined with colonial architecture and admire the town’s iconic wooden balconies. Visit the Barco de la Virgen, a replica of Columbus’ Santa Maria, and the historic Castillo de Santa Catalina.

Next, enjoy breathtaking views from Mirador de la Concepción, perched above the ancient Caldereta volcano. You’ll witness the ever-changing vegetation as the tour crosses the island from east to west.

Continue through the “Tunnel of Time” into the area most affected by the 2021 eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano. Stop at the exclusion zone of Tacande and the lava fields of Tazacorte.

Lunch is served in a traditional local restaurant around 13:30. Afterwards, admire the lava delta formed by the eruption from the port of Tazacorte.

Your final stop is Mirador de Tajuya, offering a panoramic, safe view of the volcano—just 2 km from its crater.
